Donations made to Seva Trust are typically non-refundable. As a charitable organization, we rely on donations to fund our activities and initiatives, and once funds are allocated to specific causes or projects, it becomes challenging to reverse the transaction. However, we understand that errors can occur, and we are committed to addressing such situations responsibly and fairly.

If you wish to request a refund, you must submit your request in writing to our official contact email within, 5-7 days of the transaction date. The request should include your full name, contact information, transaction ID, and the reason for the refund. Refunds will only be considered if they meet the criteria outlined in this policy and at the sole discretion of Seva Trust.

Refund requests will generally be honored in cases where duplicate transactions have occurred, the amount donated was entered incorrectly, or there is evidence of unauthorized or fraudulent activity on your account. In such cases, we will review the details and process the refund if it meets our eligibility requirements. Refunds for any other reasons will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis, and decisions will be made at our discretion.

In cases where a refund is approved, the amount will be returned to the same account or payment method used for the original transaction. Refunds will be processed within  7-10 business days after the approval of the request. Please note that additional processing time may be required by your bank or payment gateway provider, which is beyond our control.

Cancellations of recurring donations or subscriptions can be made at any time by notifying us in writing. It is the donor’s responsibility to inform us at least  5-7 days before the next scheduled payment to ensure that the cancellation is processed in time. Payments already processed before the cancellation request is received will not be refunded.

Seva Trust is not responsible for any delays or failures in processing refunds caused by inaccuracies in the information provided by the donor or issues with the payment gateway or financial institutions. Donors are encouraged to ensure the accuracy of their payment details and to contact us promptly if any issues arise.

Refunds for specific events, campaigns, or fundraising initiatives will be governed by the terms and conditions outlined at the time of registration or donation. Please review these terms carefully before making a payment. In cases where no specific terms are mentioned, this Refund and Cancellation Policy will apply.
